This year marks Park Hoppers eleventh year since its founding in 2004. Our group started with just ten families and grew to include over one hundred at its peak. Our children have gone from kindergarten age to college in that time. It has been an amazing journey along side some amazing homeschoolers and friends. I personally feel tremendous gratitude to everyone who participated in the Park Hoppers group over the years. Your participation, even if only briefly, is what made Park Hoppers, Park Hoppers. :)
With our children all grown, it's time for the founders of Park Hoppers to graduate to the next chapter of our lives. We will be closing shop this December to make room for the next generation. We encourage those still with young children to create a new group that fits you and your children's needs and desires. There is nothing more empowering then trailblazing a journey of your own, and what better way than to create the next great park group!
Before we move on, we are inviting anyone who has ever been to Park Hoppers to join us in celebration on Monday, August 17 from 1 to 4PM at Houge Park(our regularly scheduled time and park location). Bring your favorite snack, treat or drink and we look forward to celebrating our kids, our friendships, homeschooling, and the Park Hoppers legacy!
Park Hoppers founder
We are an all inclusive homeschooling park day
group that meets weekly in parks located throughout Santa Clara
Our charter is simple: Provide a place for homeschooling
families to gather, share experiences and ideas (homeschooling
and otherwise), get silly, and just have some good old fashioned fun.
Our members, when so inspired, may plan an occasional
outing or activity. Any member is welcome to post an announcement
to the group's email list or directly
add the event on the groupís calendar via individual member password.

If you are
just hoppin' to join this group,
no formal membership is necessary. Just bring your kids and a
chair or two and we'll see you at the park.
